NGC Grading Vintage Coins in Shanghai in October
Posted on 8/29/2017
Numismatic Guaranty Corporation™ (NGC®) will grade vintage coins on-site in Shanghai from October 16 to 20, 2017.
All vintage Chinese coins (those struck prior to 1949) will be evaluated by the NGC Advanced Chinese Authentication Bureau (ACAB), which was established in March 2017 to provide a higher level of sophistication for vintage Chinese coin authentication. If the NGC ACAB determines that coins are authentic, they will be graded by NGC and encapsulated with the prestigious NGC ACAB Red Dragon label.
The NGC ACAB has already had the opportunity to examine some of the most important vintage Chinese coins, including the 1897 Szechuan Ferracute Pattern Set, the 1910 and 1911 rarities struck by the Vienna Mint and a 1911 Long Whisker Pattern Gold Dollar graded NGC SP 63.
Important: All submissions for this event must be received by Friday, October 13.
