NGC Author / Research Director Wins Award

NGC Research Director David W. Lange received the prestigious James L. Miller Memorial Award from the Numismatic Literary Guild (NLG) during their annual awards celebration at the ANA World’s Fair of Money in Rosemont, IL August 7, 2014.

Lange was presented the award for his article, "The Search for A.W. Faxon" in the ANA's The Numismatist magazine.

“I am honored to be receiving this important award and flattered to be included in the group of 2014 NLG award recipients,” noted Mr. Lange. "This in-depth article is important to the numismatic community because it sheds light on such an important topic."

The Numismatic Literary Guild is an organization of authors, publishers and editors of recognized books and publications.

The James L. Miller Memorial Award honors the co-founder and longtime publisher of COINage magazine, and recognizes the best numismatic article to appear in any medium, including both numismatic and non-numismatic magazines, newspapers and Internet Web sites.
