Indian Rarity Among Hundreds of NGC-certified Coins in Marudhar Arts Sale

A stunning array of collectible Indian coins and paper money, certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) and Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) respectively, is available in the Marudhar Arts Auction #44. Online bidding is already underway for the sale on June 15, 2024.
Highlighting this auction is an India 1835.(c) Mohur Restrike - “F” on Neck graded NGC PF 61 (lot 342) with an estimate of ₹1,500,000 to ₹2,000,000 (about $18,000 to $24,000). The 1835 India Mohur was originally minted during the reign of King William IV and issued by the British East India Company at a time when the company’s focus in India was shifting from trade to governing. It includes a portrait of the king on the obverse and the company's lion emblem on the reverse.
