Posted on 4/9/2024
A gold rarity struck over a century ago is among more than 1,000 rare US coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) that are being offered in a Heritage Auctions sale. Bidding is already underway for Heritage's CSNS US Coins Signature Auction 1374, which is being held May 8-12, 2024.
Among the highlights is a 1913 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle graded NGC PF 67 and pedigreed to the Simpson Collection. Proof 1913 Double Eagles are highly coveted by serious collectors for their history and rarity.
