ANA Offers Early-Bird Badges for Los Angeles World’s Fair of Money

American Numismatic Association members can secure a great start to the nation’s premiere money show by purchasing an early-bird badge to the 2009 World’s Fair of Money®, August 5-9 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The badge allows “dealer’s hours” access to the show’s bourse floor.
Early-bird badges are for members only; the price is $150 through July 10 and $200 after that date. Early-bird hours are August 4 from 4-7 p.m., August 5 from 8-10 a.m., and August 6-9 from 9-10 a.m. The badges are available as an early registration option and can be purchased in advance on-line (the option is not included in ANA early registration print materials).

The World’s Fair of Money is the largest coin show in the country, and features more than 1,100 ANA-member dealers, a Museum Showcase featuring some of the hobby’s greatest treasures, a wide array of educational programs, a Collector Gallery of fascinating exhibits created by ANA members, a Mint Promenade with mints from throughout the world, a $1 billion display by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and a special exhibit presented by the United States Mint.
The show is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 ($20 for a five-day pass), and free for ANA members and children 12 and under.
G. Lee Kuntz is the event’s General Chairman and Bill Grant is the Honorary Chairman. The California State Numismatic Association, Numismatic Association of Southern California and Verdugo Hills Coin Club are the event’s host clubs.
