NGC and PMG Attending the 2024 Numiscol Convention in Bogotá
Posted on 2/9/2024
Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) and Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) are excited to attend the Numiscol Convention in Bogotá, Colombia, on March 1-3. Following the success of last year's 100th anniversary of the Banco de la República (Colombian Central Bank) celebrations and live auction, the convention will be another can't-miss numismatic event in 2024!
Company representatives will be on hand to explain the benefits of NGC and PMG certification services, while Numiscol, as an NGC and PMG Official Submission Center, will accept coin and banknote submissions for grading. PMG Grader Andres Cortazar will also attend the show and will be giving a special presentation, passing out information and answering questions.
About Numiscol and the Convention
In 2019, the Colombian Numismatics Foundation (Numiscol) debuted its international convention and live auction. The first event of its kind immediately became the most important and most recognized numismatic festival in Colombia, bringing together some of the most prominent numismatists, historians, researchers, merchants and collectors in Colombia.
The 2024 event will continue the development of international trade and collecting, while also establishing outreach programs for children and university students, showcasing the importance of collecting for future generations of numismatists. Live auctions (Friday and Saturday), educational opportunities for all ages, a tour around town of historical-numismatic interest and much more will be available to attendees of the convention on March 1-3, 2024 in Bogotá's Tequendama Suites and Hotel.
A leader in numismatics in South America, Numiscol has been dedicated to the development and dissemination of numismatic information for more than 50 years. The annual Numiscol Convention furthers the non-profit organization's mission of informing and educating the public on all things coin and banknote related.
Numiscol also acts as an Official Submission Center in Latin America for both NGC and PMG. The independent third-party authentication companies will be on-hand to promote numismatics and share further information about their world-class services with attendees. The Numiscol Convention is the perfect place to make connections within the numismatic community, while also offering attendees great opportunities to add unique and rare pieces to their collections.
