NGC Offers Free ReHolders for Coins with the ACAB Red Dragon Label

Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) is offering its ReHolder service for free for any coin encapsulated with the NGC ACAB Red Dragon Label (label #823). To take advantage of this opportunity, submitters must ensure their coins are received by NGC by May 31, 2024.

Please write "FREE ACAB REHOLDER" on the submission form to ensure that the fee for the ReHolder service is waived. (Submitters are still responsible for the handling fee.)

The ACAB label was formerly used for vintage Chinese coins submitted in China for evaluation by the Advanced Chinese Authentication Bureau (ACAB). All vintage Chinese coins are now graded by NGC’s core grading team and encapsulated using the same NGC labels that are used for all other submissions. In China, NGC provides full-time grading of vintage and modern coins at the Shanghai office of NGC Shanghai Business Information Consulting Co., Ltd. (NGC Shanghai).

NGC will use its Standard Brown Label #377 by default for this ReHolder offer. Customers may request another eligible label, such as Chinese New Year #1183 (which is available to all submitters for any Chinese coin), but will be required to pay any applicable label fees.

NGC will use its standard holder for this ReHolder offer. Customers submitting directly to NGC's US office may upgrade to a scratch-resistant holder for an additional $5 per coin.
