Posted on 1/10/2024
Representatives from the London office of Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®), Numismatic Conservation Services™ (NCS®) and Paper Money Guaranty™ (PMG®) will be answering questions and accepting submissions at the York Stamp & Coin Fair at The Grandstand, York Racecourse YO23 1EX, in York, Great Britain, on January 19-20, 2024.
Since the 1980s, the York Stamp & Coin Fair has consistently drawn renowned dealers in stamps, postal history, coins, banknotes and medals from across the globe. Visitors are encouraged to explore, make purchases or delve deeper into these captivating subjects. Additionally, there are frequent gatherings of specialized societies open to all where guest speakers share insights into their unique interests and collections, regardless of membership status.

NGC and PMG are the world’s largest third-party authentication, grading and encapsulation services for collectible coins and paper money, respectively. NGC and PMG grade coins and notes on the internationally recognized Sheldon scale of 1 to 70. Once graded, coins and notes are encapsulated in proprietary holders designed for long-term preservation and protection.
NGC-certified coins and PMG-certified notes are backed by the companies’ comprehensive guarantees of authenticity and grade. These guarantees, along with the expertise and impartiality of their graders, provide collectors and dealers with greater confidence. As a result, NGC-certified coins and PMG-certified notes sell for higher prices and are more easily bought and sold.
NCS provides professional conservation services for collectible coins. Paid Collector members and Authorized Dealers can submit their collectibles directly to NGC, NCS and PMG in Sarasota, Florida, USA (and at other offices around the world).
Submissions are shipped with insurance to the companies’ headquarters in the US for grading and, if requested, conservation. After grading, submissions are shipped back to the companies’ London office (again with insurance) to be returned to the submitters.
