Posted on 10/10/2023
Last month we paid tribute to a great monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. This month, we take a more whimsical approach with a colorful, popular modern Star Wars set found here.
In the past few years, Niue coins have been steadily growing in favor with modern collectors, and the NGC Registry certainly reflects this trend. With over 60 different set types to choose from and 1,661 participating sets, Niue is a hot area in the NGC Registry.

In addition to the colorful gallery showcasing this set, RDH2000 adds a helpful hint in his set description about the Star Wars movie collection:
Here's how to watch the Star Wars movies in chronological order: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (set 32 years before A New Hope) Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (22 years before) Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (19 years before) Solo: A Star Wars Story (about a decade before) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (ends moments before ANH) Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (three years after A New Hope) Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (four years after) Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (34 years after) Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (34 years after) Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (35 years after)
On another note, this avid Star Wars fan is not alone in seeking out the coveted first place in this set. Coin Maestro, in second place, has been inching up steadily on RDH2000. At 92% completion and over 116,000 points, he added new coins to his set here just a few weeks ago. With the NGC Registry annual award deadline of November 1, 2023 at (10 a.m. ET) fast approaching, it will be interesting to see who ends up in the top spot!

Would you like your set to be featured in a future article? 100% completion in a set is not always feasible. Perhaps we will choose someone whose set has a personal story behind it or some interesting historical facts. We are looking for those sets where someone has taken the time to make the set unique and a reflection of his/her personal collecting style. It may be your set! Stay tuned.
