NGC Registry Featured Set: China Silver 1 Kilo Coins

Lunar calendar coins hold a fascination for many collectors all over the world. China produces countless different versions of lunar coins — different metals and different denominations — annually. NGC recently featured the sale of four stunning Chinese gold kilo lunar coins. The China Lunar Series in the NGC Registry is quite popular and boasts over 1,200 participating sets! This month we present a striking NGC Registry China Lunar set, a Silver 300 Yuan, 1 Kilo 2014-2025 Proof set by newlinter.

All coins in this particular series have low mintages. The 2017 Rooster and the 2019 Pig, for example, each have a mintage of 10,000. The 2021 Ox has a mintage of only 5,000. They each sell now for a lofty $2,000+ US dollars, so the set participants are a select group of eight right now.
