NGC PhotoVision Plus Images Now Displayed in Verify NGC Certification Tool

Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) is excited to announce that the high-resolution "raw" coin images obtained through the NGC PhotoVision Plus service are now available through the Verify NGC Certification tool on NGCcoin.com. This has been one of the most frequently requested upgrades on the NGC social media channels, and NGC is pleased to deliver the enhancement.

When PhotoVision Plus images are available of an unholdered coin, they will now appear below the holdered images when the coin’s certification number and grade are entered at NGCcoin.com/certlookup. When submitting coins to NGC for certification, make sure to select the PhotoVision Plus service as an add-on to your order.

Submitters will receive high-resolution images of the obverse and reverse of their coin as a side-by-side JPEG, accompanied with the NGC logo on a dark background that accentuates the coin. Further, the PhotoVision Plus images are perfect for displaying your collection in the NGC Registry, NGC Chat Boards, in online marketplace listings and on social media. In fact, the PhotoVision Plus images have dimensions that are ideal for posting your prized coins on Facebook and Instagram.

By making these highly detailed images available through the Verify NGC Certification tool, NGC further contributes to a safer numismatic marketplace and helps foster a more educated numismatic community. The availability of the images also provides submitters with easy access in the event that the original ones are misplaced.
