Austrian Coin Certified by NGC Tops Upcoming Künker Sale

An Austrian coin showing Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand II, and certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®), is expected to realize six figures in an upcoming sale. Künker Münzauktionen und Goldhandel's Auction 387 will be held on June 20-22, 2023.
The top highlights in the auction include an Austria 1632 10 Ducat graded NGC AU Details (lot 293) with a starting price of €100,000 (about $108,000). This coin’s obverse shows Ferdinand II, who was Holy Roman Emperor from 1619 to 1637. The reverse of the extremely rare coin features the name and arms of Carinthia, a region in southern Austria that was part of the domain of Ferdinand II.
