NGC-certified coins from Bohemia and England also excelled in the November auction.

A Russian coin certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) sold for more than half a million dollars as part of a Ginza Coins auction on November 5, 2022. The Russia 1835 Imperial Family 1.5 Roubles graded NGC MS 64 (lot 991) realized 78,055,000 JPY (about $537,000).

The obverse of this renowned Russian rarity shows the bust of Russian Emperor Nicholas I, who ruled Russia from 1825 to 1855. The reverse, which features Empress Alexandra and their seven children, gives the coin its commonly known name: the "Family Rouble."
