NGC Wins Four Numismatic Literary Guild Awards

The Numismatic Literary Guild (NLG) has presented Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) with awards for four of its regular series of articles. Collectors can access these columns for free either at NGCcoin.com or by signing up for the monthly NGC eNews and NGC Weekly Market Report, which are delivered by email.

NGC Ancients was recognized as the best Numismatic Column for Ancient or Medieval Coins — the fifth year in a row that NGC Ancients has won this category. This year's winning columns include ones that explored the Twelve Labors of Hercules as depicted on ancient coinage. To read NGC Ancients articles, click here.
USA Coin Album was recognized as best Numismatic Column for Modern United States Coins. This column is written by NGC Research Director David W. Lange, who has now won this category for three years in a row. To read USA Coin Album columns, click here.
NGC Counterfeit Detection was recognized as best Numismatic Column for World Coins. The winning columns included two that were written by NGC Senior Grading Finalizer of World Coins Ben Wengel, in which he identified counterfeit coins from Bolivia and Czechoslovakia. NGC Weekly Market Report was recognized as best Numismatic Investment or Marketplace Column. This year's winning columns were written by NGC Price Guide Analyst Jim Bisognani. This is the second year in a row that NGC Weekly Market Report won this category; last year's winning entries were written by former American Numismatic Association President Jeff Garrett.
