NGC and PMG Attending the ANA World’s Fair of Money

Join in the summer fun with Numismatic Guaranty Company ™ (NGC®) and Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) at the World’s Fair of Money, being held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, on August 16-20, 2022. NGC representatives will be at booth #1400 and PMG representatives will be at booth #1502 to receive submissions, answer questions and explain services.
NGC and PMG, the official grading services of the American Numismatic Association (ANA), have many special services and events planned, such as celebrating NGC’s 35th anniversary with a limited-edition label and a special guest appearance by 2022 Silver Eagle engraver Michael Gaudioso.
NGC 35th anniversary label
This year, NGC is celebrating the company’s 35th anniversary! To commemorate the milestone, qualifying coins submitted at the World’s Fair of Money will be eligible for the NGC 35th Anniversary Celebratory Label. For details and submission instructions, click here. Also, NGC’s popular "Retro" Holder, which is reminiscent of NGC’s first coin holder, will be available for Regular Submissions only.
Special guests
Making a special appearance is two-time director of the US Mint David J. Ryder, who was instrumental in implementing the 1921 Silver Dollar Anniversary Act. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, August 19, Ryder will be at booth #1400 to meet the public and sign complimentary flyers. Ryder is one of the many numismatic industry leaders who sign certification labels exclusively for NGC. To learn more, click here.
Also, artist Michael Gaudioso, who engraved the new Silver Eagle reverse, is making a special appearance at the NGC booth. From 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, August 19, Gaudioso will be at booth #1400 to meet the public and sign complimentary flyers. Gaudioso is another of the many numismatic luminaries who sign certification labels exclusively for NGC. To learn more, click here.
Free one-on-one consultations
NGC Chairman Mark Salzberg is offering free one-on-one coin evaluations on Thursday, August 18, from 2 to 3 p.m at the NGC booth. To learn more, click here. Grading contest
NGC will hold a free grading contest at NGC Booth #1400 from August 16 to 20. Participants will have the chance to win NGC grading credits and cash prizes, as well as a special NGC “Sample Slab” with a 2003-S Proof Silver Illinois Quarter. Rare appearance of an 1882-CC Morgan Dollar error coin
An 1882-CC Morgan Dollar with a Mint Error is making a rare appearance at the NGC booth. This particular coin is pedigreed to the coveted GSA Hoard and is known as "The Grand Snake.” NGC had the honor of certifying this error coin within its original GSA holder. On-site grading
NGC is offering on-site grading and encapsulation of US coins. Submissions must be received by 12 p.m. on Friday, August 19 and will be returned by 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 20. (On-site grading will not be available for PMG at the show.) NGC cut-off times may change depending on submission volumes. To see the onisite grading services and fees, click here.
Regular submissions
Throughout the show, company representatives will be accepting regular submissions and answering questions at the NGC and PMG booths. The cut-off time for regular NGC submissions will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, and the cut-off time for regular PMG submissions will be noon on Saturday, August 20. (Cut-off times may change depending on submission volumes.) Submit at the show and save on shipping!
