Hundreds of NGC-certified Coins Offered in Singapore Auction

The Mavin International sale in April features a large selection of world coins.

Hundreds of world coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) are available in an upcoming Mavin International sale. Located in Singapore, Mavin International serves as an Official Submission Center to NGC. Online bidding is currently underway in Mavin’s Auction 59, with sessions concluding on April 23 and April 30, 2022.

A top lot is a China (1922) Hunan Silver Dollar graded NGC MS 64 (lot 653), with an estimate of at least SG$32,000 (about $24,000 USD). This commemorative coin was issued to celebrate the new constitution of Hunan Provence, a landlocked region about 200 miles north of Hong Kong.

Other NGC-certified highlights in the sale include:

  • an England 1551 Crown graded NGC F 15 (lot 674), with an estimate of at least SG$6,500 (about $4,800 USD)

  • a Singapore 1969 Gold 150 Dollars – Founding of Singapore graded NGC MS 66 (lot 769), with an estimate of at least SG$2,100 (about $1,500 USD)
  • a China 1908 Chihli Silver Dollar graded NGC AU 55 (lot 640), with an estimate of at least SG$2,100 (about $1,500 USD)
  • a British North Borneo Half Cent graded NGC SP 64 RB (lot 615), with an estimate of at least SG$1,900 (about $1,400 USD)
  • a China (1911) Silver Dollar graded NGC XF 45 (lot 639), with an estimate of at least SG$1,500 (about $1,100 USD)
  • a Straits Settlements 1903B Dollar with Raised Mintmark graded NGC XF 40 (lot 847), with an estimate of at least SG$850 (about $625 USD)
  • a Straits Settlements 1919 Dollar graded NGC MS 63+ (lot 862), with an estimate of at least SG$750 (about $550 USD)
  • a Penang 1787 Cent graded NGC XF 40 BN (lot 710), with an estimate of at least SG$520 (about $385 USD)
  • a VEIC Netherlands East Indies 1787 Pulu Penang Half Cent graded NGC XF 40 BN (lot 708), with an estimate of at least SG$420 (about $310 USD)
  • a Cyprus 1928 45 Piastres graded NGC MS 63 (lot 669), with an estimate of at least SG$420 (about $300 USD)
  • a Singapore AH1250 (1835) Keping graded NGC MS 63 BN (lot 757), with an estimate of at least SG$380 (about $280 USD)
  • a Singapore 1973 Silver 10 Dollars graded NGC PF 63 Ultra Cameo (lot 771), with an estimate of at least SG$260 (about $190 USD)
  • a Great Britain 1901C Trade Dollar graded NGC AU 55 (lot 621), with an estimate of at least SG$210 (about $155 USD)
  • a Straits Settlements 1845 Half Cent graded NGC AU 58 BN (lot 818), with an estimate of at least SG$170 (about $125 USD)
