Antium Aurum Sales Feature Rare European Coins Certified by NGC

More than 175 NGC-graded rarities are featured in the April auctions.

The highest graded example of a rare Czechoslovakian coin certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) is featured in upcoming Antium Aurum sale. Online bidding is already underway for Auction XIII and Auction XIV, both of which conclude on April 30, 2022.

The top lot among the more than 175 NGC-certified coins in the two auctions is a Czechoslovakia 1951 2 Dukaty graded NGC MS 68 (Auction XIV, lot 565).The coin, with a starting price of €50,000 (about $55,000), is the highest-graded of the five examples listed in the NGC Census.

Other NGC-certified highlights in the sales include:

  • a Czechoslovakia 1929 10 Dukatu – Trade Coinage graded NGC MS 66 (Auction XIV, lot 556), with a starting price of €20,000 (about $22,000)
  • a Czechoslovakia 1932 10 Dukatu graded NGC MS 66 (Auction XIV, lot 558), with a starting price of €20,000 (about $22,000)
  • a Czechoslovakia 1934 10 Dukatu graded NGC MS 62 (Auction XIV, lot 559), with a starting price of €20,000 (about $22,000)
  • an Austria 1873 4 Ducats – Vienna Shooting Festival graded NGC MS 63 DPL (Auction XIII, lot 3), with a starting price of €16,000 (about $17,600)
  • an Austria 1911 100 Corona graded NGC PL 64 Ultra Cameo (Auction XIV, lot 479), with a starting price of €15,000 (about $16,500)
  • a Hungary 1575 HS Ducat graded NGC MS 66★ (Auction XIV, lot 306), with a starting price of €10,000 (about $11,000)
  • an Austria 1885 Bronze Innsbruck Shooting Festival Medal graded NGC MS 65 BN (Auction XIII, lot 13), with a starting price of €8,000 (about $8,800)
  • an Austria 1898 4 Ducats graded NGC MS 64 PL (Auction XIV, lot 413), with a starting price of €6,000 (about $6,600)
  • an Austria 1857A Vienna-Trieste Railway 2 Taler graded NGC PF 63 Cameo (Auction XIV, lot 438), with a starting price of €5,000 (about $5,500)
  • an Austria 1868 Bronze Shooting Festival Taler graded NGC MS 65 BN (Auction XIII, lot 2), with a starting price of €4,000 (about $4,400)
