Description and Analysis

Roosevelt Dimes
1950 10C MS

Description & Analysis

The American economy began a recovery process during 1950, due in part to the onset of the Korean War and resulting stepped up military expenditures. Though modest in the overall context of the Roosevelt series, the mintage of 1950(P) dimes was enough to make this date only slightly scarce in circulation. Collectors preserved many rolls, and Mint State coins of average quality are common. Top-grade pieces survive in more limited numbers, though there appear to be enough Full Torch examples to supply advanced collectors of the series.
