Description & Analysis

The Head of 94 cents are higher in overall relief, with more fully defined features. This bust style encompasses some 53 die marriages, comprising the majority of 1794-dated cents. Some varieties, such as S-29 (photos), are common, while others are quite rare.

Among the most popular of Head of 94 cents is S-48, which features tiny stars partially hidden within the toothed border of its reverse die.
