"Mind your business" was a favorite motto of Ben Franklin and appears on the first

American one-cent coin, known numismatically as the "FUGIO" cent.

Good glory it took me like 30 minutes to figure that out!! I didn't bother thinking about colonials because usually the coins you ask about are minted by the mint. And though the mint wasn't established at the time the fugio cent was the first minted under authorization of the United States.

I hope someone posted the info about this because I'm very curious to why the time-flies franklin cent had "Mind Your Business" on it!

Holy alarm clock this is late but thought a good WAG would be the Fugio cent. And now my real guess is 29 correct previous answers.

Don't tarry away your time; after all, there is a new experiment, a new nation at hand, and only the labor of its people will suffice for its success.
