Finally added a German empire 1909-F (stuttgart mint) “25 Pfennig” KM#18 to my collection for long time I wanted one in a PROOF which is very scarce to find … After little negotiating with a German dealer overseas we finally agreed on a price… The airtite is dirty in pictures this coin is actually spotless !!! Bright mirrors it’s hard to say how many of these proofs really exist from each mint in Germany

Germany Third Reich …1940-A 5 pfennig “Reichskreditkassen” military occupation money iron or zinc always turns dark color !! This one looks like it been coated in light dap mineral oil to keep it from rusting

I bought my first foreign coins just this past Tuesday. Nothing major except for this old coin (well, sort of). It cost me less than $5 CAN; I I used Paint.Net to cover the price in the image. I did buy it from a reputable antiques store here in Edmonton. It was part of a collection that was sold to the store.

I picked up it and 11 other lower grade coins* for just under $12 CAN.

* Nothing above AU; not officially graded by a grading company. Mainly unofficial VF/XF coins.

I won in an auction a very very nicely toned 1913 (3 mark) PF-65 German commemorative 100 years anniversary when Germany defeated Napoleon at battle of Leipzig 1813

Also won another WW1 silver German medal of Wilhelm II last King of Prussia Zetzmann #4020 has some nice toning as well .
