1938-D/D and 1938-D/S Buffalo Nickels!

Am I the only one to wonder why the 1938-D/D has the same registry value in points an the 1938-D/S in higher grades? I know there are a few dealers that try to get as much for a MS66 or MS67 'D/D as they do for a 'D/S but the 1938-D/S is worth double the 1938-D/D. confused.gif
