I just bought the gold $100 Union from the New York Mint last night. Current price is about $3000, over twice bullion price. I'm not sure how many were made, but they have to be rare. I bought the silver one some time ago. It's a nice coin. I once saw one sell on eBay for $80, though, but only once. I'll try to put up a picture when I get it. There is a picture on the NewYorkMint.com website, but it's not very good.

What a bizarre thread this is. There are 8 "different" members, all of whose one and only posts was in this very thread...over the course of months and years.
