After doing some research it appears the original run of this coin ended in 1881. I read they did some restikes in the 1960s of this coin but cannot find anything about an 1890 restrike. Does anyone know anything about this? Original 1890 coin? A restrike? When were restrikes produced? Metal content? FAKE? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! It’s not a real coin, but a fantasy piece. I found a post in Spanish on a numismatic discussion board and had it translated into English. Herewith, the translation: “It's a reproduction of jewelry, the wrong date is to avoid counterfeiting problems.” Or so they think, eh Roger?
