2020 QUARTER POSSIBLE WEAK STRIKE, DIE TRIAL, PMD? 1 1

Please let me know your thoughts on this 2020 quarter. Could this be a weak strike or die trial or PMD or other issue? Thank you.

I’m curious to see others opinions, but I’m fairly certain this is PMD (Post Mint Damage), and not an error. It’s impossible to know for sure what caused it,  but we can know it didn’t leave the mint like that. A belt sander may have been involved.

Sometime there just is no definitive answer with regard to causes for these things. Even as experts on this forum view the coin there is no way to determine absolutely what caused this.I would agree with Woods020 only I think maybe a file but that's just a guess..

It is PMD. You can’t have a weak strike on only one side. 
Looks like it has been ground down on one side. Note the missing rims.

Idle time damage, or someone attempting to make "errors" to sell on some goofy web site.

It's washer or dryer damage. I have done this myself. Coins get stuck between agitator and basket and just spins the coin sometimes for a long time until you find it.
