Some would call it a wheat penny, others would ask you to post both sides of the coin in clear and cropped images. More info provided the more info given.
Off hand I say a chemically altered coin or maybe a steel penny.....can't tell really.

Second thought; a wheat cent with some damage and questionable surface, but that could be the photo

Lincoln Wheat Cent.  I would need a better picture to know if it is steel (or... a 1943 date).  It's likely not a super valuable coin, but most collectors still like finding them in pocket change.  Good find - Enjoy!

Your not giving us much information to go on, you don’t even specify the date.

we need a clear picture of both sides and an explanation of exactly what your asking in able to help you.

That was my first thoughts. SMS satin matte lincoln wheat back cent.

A Lincoln cent, date still unknown because the obverse hasn't been declassified yet.
