Some would call it a wheat penny, others would ask you to post both sides of the coin in clear and cropped images. More info provided the more info given.
Off hand I say a chemically altered coin or maybe a steel penny.....can't tell really.

Your not giving us much information to go on, you don’t even specify the date.

we need a clear picture of both sides and an explanation of exactly what your asking in able to help you.

Also please crop your photos to make the image larger.

my first thought is; 'Ratzie33' is that you??

Second thought; a wheat cent with some damage and questionable surface, but that could be the photo

Third thought; I saw your first post, what do you imagine this to be?

Thirty hours later, and still no clarification...  why?

A Lincoln cent, date still unknown because the obverse hasn't been declassified yet.

An old damaged coin holder.

An "O-ring" of the type our own Hoghead made reference to elsewhere recently.

Fiber evidence...

And the most tantalizing clue of all: Alex of PA's emoji declaring, "They know..........."

I am going to sit and wait.
