Your coin appears to have been struck with worn dies and you are seeing die erosion and some strike doubling, from your photos I do not see clear signs of this being any known DDO for this date/mm.  But as you seem convinced please update us with your results after you send this coin in to be authenticated.   Also please in the future show us photos of the entire coin (both sides) not just a portion of it, and clearly point out what you are questioning/showing us about the coin.  Cuts way back on the guessing.

Die erosion can cause a similar effect as seen on that coin, but in this instance it's too severe to have occurred without assistance. This coin is one of the many thousands of "processed" pieces, dull and worn 1943 cents that were stripped down to the bare steel, re-plated with zinc and then whizzed to make them bright. These were sold throughout the 1950s-60s, though in most instances the sellers disclosed that the coins' surfaces were enhanced.

In my opinion it is clearly 1943, Doubled-Die cent.

Then by all means send it in and get it graded.
