Die polishing or cleaning? 0

I'm not the best at recognizing die polish lines. Most polish lines I have seen are mainly on the fields tho'. Yours look to be all over the coin. Are the lines raised or sunken in.

The fine lines seem to be interrupted by highest relief. This suggests polishing/abrasion after the coin left the Philadelphia Mint.

The mono-directional (only north and south) lines do trouble me. Not a normal look.

Yes I Agree, however they do show some multidirectional type from east to west here under the bust.

And I know I’m always going on about the teardrop, but this one is actually in the right place. It would probably receive somewhat of an AU grade however because of the scratches on the face of our late president.

There is a very interesting bit of doubling going on here with the designers initials, the wing and leg, maybe some of the best doubling I’ve seen. The interior of the feather, the actual letters, and entire leg line all doubled thickly. Yes the lines are raised up off of the coin.

One thing that struck me about the supposed “lines” is their exact raised nature. Their spacing is impeccable
