Hello all,

had a few questions.

first is this real, I compared to others and it looks genuine.

second, am I right that is looks cleaned?

third, with the 3 spots on the reverse, would it be worth sending for grading?

I do not see any obvious signs that this is not authentic; however it has been cleaned/polished and between the polishing, corrosion/PVC spots and the rev rim nick I would advise against submitting it for grading.

Genuine. Harshly cleaned and polished. Unlikely it will be accepted for certification by NGC or PCGS.

I agree with the above comments.  

I would put it in something other than a 2x2 if it were mine.  However, I suppose a 2x2 works.

Would anyone besides me carry this as a pocket piece for a year or so, to see if would wear down to about F/VF and become "market acceptable?"

It appears to be polished or even whizzed, but it's a genuine example.  This is perfect for use as a pocket piece!
