Hi, I am a complete newbie, and found some wheat pennies in an old box. One of them is a 1942 with what looks to me like an unusually large gap between the 4 and the 2 on the date. Is this common?IMG-5302.thumb.JPG.94dfe8afd7843e9e7f2cebb0202ca11d.JPG

That is normal. There were over 658 million with no mm produced and I'm sure they all look the same.
