My daughter colorized an Australian kookaburra  when she was 3.. I should have sent that in..

When it was announced that a portion of the 2020 Basketball Hall of Fame Commemorative Coins would be colorized, there was tremendous excitement throughout the hobby.

Yes, my impression was that of a sound condemnation.

“American numismatists have long awaited a colorized coin from the US Mint,” commented Mark Salzberg,

And I think most of them would probably have been willing to wait a lot longer..
