Unless it is a very high grade, you might as well just keep it. Most circulated ones won't even cover the cost of shipping.

Unless it is an exceptional coin, they are as common as dirt. You'll be lucky to get a dime for it.

Millions were minted.

1943  (Steel Cent) 684,628,670
1943-D (Steel Cent) 217,660,000
1943-S (Steel Cent) 191,550,000

EDIT: BTW, Congrats Bobby on your number one song!

Now that's just lowballing him. OP, I'll give you two cents for it, you still cover the shipping.

I have pictures of it

Click "reply" and just drag your pictures into the paper clip thing. I know it's hard when you have something as unique as a steel cent, only to find out it's probably not worth much of anything unless it's really high grade. Welcome to coin collecting! I bought a set from all three mints almost 50 years ago for 75 cents, and it wasn't a good investment.

Post some pictures but as stated most 1943 cents have very little value.  They do have a lot of history though, do you know the story of why they were made?
