1887-P VAM 14D - Request to add to Variety Plus 0

Hi NGC,

I have a great uncirculated example of an 1887-P with VAM 14D.  It is known as the "Bowtie" VAM due to the marking in the middle of the second 8.  I would like to get this coin graded and encapsulated with the VAM listing.

What is the process for requesting a VAM be added to your VarietyPlus lsting?

NGC does not attribute that particular VAM variety. It attributes only those VAMs found in the Top-100, Hot-50 and Hitlist-40.
