1901 "Serial" dime

I've heard, and speculated myself, that a lot of counterstamps on coins were just from factory workers practicing on coins for stamping serial numbers into various things. Well, here's one with the actual word "SERIAL". (Not mine, seller's pic). Oh well, I'm bored on a Sunday.

LOL. Thanks kbbpll, I needed that. Might as well get used to "bored" for awhile, I'm quadruple reading all, any new post is great. Thanks for clarifying machine dbling etc., to all use newbies. Later... I gotta see if the SER on the obverse might be a doubled die version.
