Is this extreme die finger error or a junk coin? 0

This coin has extra wording on it and deep scarring I dont know what its caused from and if it has value or just a coin that's had the beat out of it I have pics of what appears to be America across his face from his ear to about where the e is in America on the outer most edge of coin and what looks like liberty on his neck...........any info would be helpful

Not quite sure what a "die finger error" is  but it is just extreme damage. Looks intentional.

There is no possible way for any of that to happen during the striking of the coin. Spend it.

He is probably thinking feed finger damage....which this isn't.  Just a quarter that was horribly abused after it left the mint.
