FTW
Today I found this 1916 Mercury dime that I believe has a “D” mint Mark. What do you think? kbbpll
JKK
Yes, that looks like a real one. Very deep wear, grade FA-2 to AG-3, but yes, that is a 1916-D Merc. Outstanding find, congrats. I bought one of those from a dealer for a friend a few years back in about that condition, paid about $575.

kbbpll
Excellent! An image of the reverse without the magnifying glass would be nice, but not critical. Here's a nearly identical AG3 sold in October for $410. https://coins.ha.com/itm/mercury-dimes/dimes/1916-d-10c-ag3-ngc-ngc-census-0-1847-pcgs-population-2917-4938-cdn-400-whsle-bid-for-problem-free-ngc-pcgs-ag3/a/131941-23132.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 I recommend you sign up for a free login there so you can see larger images and sold prices. KarenHolcomb
Well i am a big spoon because I thought the 1915D was what we wanted. All the same, I have an absolutely gorgeous counterfeited one. Great find dude! You lucky guy.
