FrankiePanks
Hi there, very new to coins. I have recently begun looking through some old coins that were set aside by my great uncle who dies decades ago. He was a treasury agent so I assume he had reasons for setting things aside that he thought were worth keeping. One of them intrigues me, it is an 1883 Seated Liberty Dime, but I can't tell if it is actually "uniface" by the samples I see online since the blank side seems to have a finished, and different edge with an odd sprocket pattern. Any thoughts?
Greenstang
Welcome to the forum- Not a uniface. Looks to me like someone has started to make a love token and only got it partially finished. VKurtB
