I need help figuring out what to do with this coin I've called numerous places and they all say get it looked at but I don't know we're to send it

Almost certainly either a fake cast 1943 copper cent or copper-coated. Get a magnet. If it sticks, it's coated steel. 99% of them fail this test.

Sorry but what you have is a Chinese fake. Hope you didn't buy this one.

There are only about a dozen genuine 43 copper coins but there are thousands of Chinese fakes that you can buy for about $2.00 each.

First thing I thought was Cast, I own a Cast Trade Dollar copy and the surfaces look remarkably similar.  Your best bet, if you still feel you need an expert opinion, find a local coin club in your area and attend a meeting.
