Do I need to provide documentation for a Douro Gold Sovereign 0

Hello,

I acquired a Douro shipwreck gold sovereign from a local auction house.  If I want to send it in for Grading

with a Shipwreck label and Douro reference, do I need to provide documentation of the Douro link.

If so, what documentation is acceptable.   Invoice, link to auction sale details ?
