Why is the Isle of Man Cat gold coin - a "New York Alley Cat"

3 posts in this topic

Hi,

I've recently been scouring the web for some Isle of Man gold coins and came across this cat coin that is written differently in various places.

NGC has it as "Alley Cat" and indeed that's what it says on the holder...but PM retailers have it differently"

Anyone got any ideas?

Thank you for your question. NGC may have changed the label description for this coin over time. We have updated the description in our database to read, "New York Alley Cat."
