Is this 1994 dime an error??

3 posts in this topic

On the reverse of the coin there seems to be severe strong doubling on stems of olive with a die crack on the obverse that runs through the D in Dime through the torch that connects the D and torch, a strong raised ridge, as well as doubling of letters, torch, and other parts of the coin, my photos don't show it too well hard to captucapture it! But a long cud type ridge that runs length of D into the torch parallel. Error?? Any help appreciated, Thank you, Capone1929

Looks like it does have a couple small die cracks. Don't see any doubling besides a little machine doubling. Not really any premium stuff, just cool stuff.

The die is also showing heavy die wear so there may be som die deterioration doubling going on.  In addition to the die crack running up through the D there is also one running from the rim diagonally across the I in DIME to the point of the stem of the oak branch.
