I normally don't post here, but need to do a shoutout and kudos to NGC for the Red Book promotion.  Arrived today...

I haven't bought one in a while, so it's much appreciated!

Is there any special or exclusive content, or is this just an exclusive cover? 

For collectors of the Redbook, I understand that this is probably an exciting thing... but is it actually something worth pursuing for the rest of us?

I doubt there's any extra content, but seriously?  It was (maybe still is) a free no-extra cost perk for having 5 or more coins graded. No drawings or forms to fill out, if you got some coins entombed, they sent you a 30th Anniversary NGC Red Book.  It's even the hardcover edition.

 

It's nothing to pursue.  It's just a nice touch by NGC, saving me from my bi-decade purchase of the Red Book.  (Yeah, it's about that often... )

The NGC commemorative Red Book deal expired May 31, but I'm told it's been extended now until the books are all gone. Here are the original announcement and terms:
