IN MY SEARCH FOR THE RARE 1982 D SM. DATE BRASS PENNY, WHICH I HAVE FOUND AND IN THE PROCESS OF SUBMITTING, I ALSO STARTED LOOKING CLOSELY AT THE CLOSE AND WIDE AM'S OF THE 1992 D, 98,99, AND 2,000 PENNIES. JUST FOR FUN I STARTED CHECKING MY 1982D BRASS 3.1 GRM. PENNIES LARGE DATE. WELL, WHAT I HAVE FOUND THAT I HAVEN'T HEARD OF YET, IS,  I HAVE BOTH A WIDE AM & A CLOSE AM AMOUNG MY 1982 D BRASS LG. DATE PENNIES, 1982 D WIDE BEING COMMON. IS THIS COSE AM A RARITY?

Well considering the CAM didn't come along for another 10 years I would think a 1982 CAM would be rather rare.  I agree with Physics, we would need to see images before we could even begin to believe these claims.
