Grant Gold Dollar edge lettering error

Are you perhaps referring to a brass presidential dollar? The Grant Gold Dollar came out in 1922 and has a reeded edge.

I have not seen one. Do you have a missing lettering, overlapped lettering, or overlaped inverted lettering. those are the normal

presidential dollar errors.

Yes Dave, I was a little miffed by this threads title also.......

For a second I thought, "did I ever look at the edge of my Grant dollar"?

Assuming you are referring to the modern brass presidential dollar series, the edge lettering on these is often messed up. Missing letters, doubled letters, overlapped letters. When they came out these edge lettering issues were a big deal, but I haven't heard too many people talking about them recently.
