I RECENTLY ACQUIRED THIS COIN.  THE COIN MARK INDICATES IT'S FROM THE JAPAN MINT WITH PRE APRIL 2012 FINENESS OF 1000. I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ANY OTHER INFORMATION, SUCH AS MINTAGE AMOUNT OR ARTIST, ETC. ANY IDEAS OR INFO WOULD HELP. CAN ANYONE TRANSLATE THE JAPENESE? THANKS

I think I can translate.  Above the snake reads" 15th international coin festival"  and below the snake reads "year 1989" "Tokyo" "Japan numismatic dealers association"

The last image reads "made by Japan MInt"

It's a medal to momemmorate annual international coin festival in Tokyo.   Mintage 1,000 and was sold for about $230 each.
