SkyMan
I'm glad to see this thread up again. That's a Very attractive album toned 1948. Here's one that Tomaska included as a plate coin in his most recent book...
FranklinHalfAddict
Thanks SkyMan. That 54 S is awesome! That's pretty cool that the coin is pictured in the book. Do you know who took the pictures that are in the book? I think the pictures you posted are much better, so kudos to whoever took them.
SkyMan
Actually 6 of my coins are Plate coins in the book. You'll find them all in Appendix A. I suspect that the pictures were taken by a son in law of Rick's. I personally think the images in the book aren't particularly good. The images of the '54-S were taken by Shane Canup. Most of the toner pictures that I've posted on this thread were taken by Shane or by Bob Campbell while the cameo proofs were imaged for the most part by Bruce Lee. Here's another plate coin. FranklinHalfAddict
Very nice SkyMan. I've seen that coin before. Someone posted it over at CoinTalk a little while back along with another envelope toner that I believe they said belongs to you.

SkyMan
Attractive looking Franklins! (thumbs u Congratulations on the 401. I just created a thread last week about my raw '52-D, '53-D and '54 Franklins. Since you posted your '53-D and '54 Frankies I'll post them again. IMO the Dansco is coming along nicely, and I'm having a Lot of fun doing it.
