Questions about Modern Conservation with Grading

3 posts in this topic

I recently submitted coins for the first time to NCS for the "Modern Conservation with grading" service and had a few questions about the process.

1. About how long after the coins are delivered will they show up on the NCS website under submission tracking?

2. The pricing on the form says $26.50, but most people online says it costs $22.50 - did the price recently go up or am I possibly doing something wrong?

3. When NGC grades them, are they put into a scratch-resistant slab or just a regular one?

4. About how long is the total turnaround time?

Thanks very much for any answers :)

Coins will appear in the invoice tracking the same day as they arrive at NCS.

The pricing for the Modern Special is $26.50 but will be $27 as of April 1. Current forms will list the current pricing structure.

Regular NGC holders are used.

Turn around time is approximately 2 weeks for the Modern Special.
