Hello Craig W,

Thank you for providing the cert number. We have not yet graded enough of this type of coin to build a new competitive set. Should we grade more coins of this type, we may revisit this in the future.  Please let us know when we may be of further assistance.

Hello keys213,

Thank you for the requests.  We will look in to creating a set for the Cook Islands S$20 MS coins and sets for Samoa.  Once we have graded additional Niue S$7 coins, we may revisit creating a set to display your coin. Thank you.

Hi,

Can you create new registry sets for Republic of India, Commemorative issues (non Proofs) for:

10 Rupees, 1974-Date
Silver 10 Rupees, 1969-1973
Silver 50 Rupees, 1974-Date
Silver 100 Rupees, 1980-Date

Currently there are registry proof sets for these, but all these coins were also issued as MS issues.

Thanks

Hello,

Could you consider type sets for Italy by reign.  Specifically I'm interested in a denomination set (not including gold necessarily--or one with gold and one without) for Vittorio Emanuele III.  As a separate set I'd still like a set for Albania under the Italian Occupation too--also with good old VEIII on them.

Thanks for considering!

Hi Maribeth,

I sent the email (with KM#s), any idea if this might be approved?  I may have gone SLIGHTLY overboard with the details, the with/without gold, etc.  :D

Thanks!

Hi Ali,

I have requests with respect to sets for three countries:

Netherlands East Indies

It would be nice to have a set (or sets) that encompass all of the coins struck for the Netherlands East Indies by the U.S. Mints during World War II.  There are 19 coins dated from 1941 through 1945 and were struck by the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco mints. The exact coins involved are included in my custom set: Netherlands East Indies - Minted by the U.S. Mint.

I know your preference is to create sets based on denomination over a period of years, but that will often exclude coins of historic and numismatic significance just because the denomination was only minted for one or two years. This particular group of coins includes at least one such coin and possibly two depending on how you define the time period.  The inclusion of a 20th Century Type set encompassing all denominations may solve that issue.  A set similar to the Curacao "1900-1948, Complete Circulation Issues" could work as well.

Netherlands

Please add a set for 25 Cent coins, similar  to the 10 Cent set.  A type set is OK, but a year based set would be preferable.  A set that includes the 1944P GULDEN coins (KM-161.1 and KM-161.2) would be nice too. Again, a multi-denomination type set would be a nice addition.

Ecuador

I really appreciate all of the new sets for Ecuador, but the 2 1/2 Centavo coins have been left out since they were only minted in 1917 and 1928.  The 1917 in particular is one of the key coins for Ecuadorian collectors. As above, the inclusion of a 20th Century Type set encompassing all denominations would allow these coins to participate in the Registry without having to create a two coin set for that denomination.

Thanks,

Harry

Hi Ali,

I just saw the individual sets for the Canadian 1968-1978 Uncirculated Set Issues, and I plan on participating in those as they look like fun.  I'd like to request individual year sets for the Proof Like Sets from 1954-1967.  Those would be a ton of fun!!

Thanks!

I'm all for this. From my 60 year plus numismatic point of view I feel that all Canadian and Mexican coins are to quote a friend "under appreciated." Affordable and interesting coins are the bread and butter of our hobby.

I couldn't agree with you more.  Canadian coins are some of my favorites. They were the coins that got me started collecting at age 8, almost 30 years ago and I continue to pursue them.  I also like Mexican coins quite a bit as well.  I have a few Mexican coins and I may pursue them more seriously someday, but there's so much I need for Canada and East Germany (My two favorite countries to collect from) and my avian dinosaur Custom Set that I do not know when I'll get around to Mexico!

Thanks Ali! That is great news. I will look forward to participating in those sets when they go live.

Thanks again for all of your help on this.  I really appreciate it, and I know my fellow Canadian collectors here on NGC will as well.

We are in the process of creating these two new NGC Registry sets:

South Korea: Chiwoo Cheonwang Medals, Silver, 2016-Date, Complete

South Korea: Chiwoo Cheonwang Medals, Gold, 2016-Date, Complete

We have a temporary freeze on slot additions and score change requests until after the annual awards deadline in December has passed. We will have to wait to add any new slots to the South Korea Silver medal set. Thank you.

Ali, can NGC add a Rama IV type set for Thailand?

It would need the following:

Thai 1860 1 baht
Thai 1860 1/2 baht
Thai 1860 1/4 baht
Thai 1860 1/8 baht
Thai 1860 1/16 baht
Thai 1862 1/8 fuang
Thai 1862 1/16 fuang
Thai 1863 2 baht

Their is a rama V set, but nothing at all for Rama IV which NGC grades and I have all the coins for this set! Please add!!
