What is NGC's Scientific Method for.......

Much better I am sure than my method. I will relate my horror story. I was cracking an ANACS 1904s Morgan MS 61, for what I thought was a guaranteed bump to a 63. Well, I used a vise and hacksaw...worked well with opening the end of the slab. At any rate, as soon as I started to separate the slab, the coin fell out of the holder, crashed on the tile floor of my workshop, and rolled. In the process of rolling, it slammed into a tool chest in the corner of the room, and hit the edge of the tool chest. The slighly "baggy" obverse (what probably kept this coin as a 61 in the first place) now had a nice deep gouge on Liberty's cheek.

Anyone who knows Morgan 1904s would by now be groaning--it used to be a $1000 coin, and now makes a good pocket piece. frown.gif
