Hi!

 

At the houston show, will NGC accept submissions from non-paid members, and will NGC be offering GSA grading in the original holders? Also, is mint error certification available at the show?

Thank you for the questions. NGC does not accept submissions from non-paid members. You must have an Associate or higher Collectors Society membership to submit. Click here to learn more about the Collectors Society.

 

We are unable to put bands (with grades) around the GSA holders for on site grading. You may submit them at the show, but they would have the be brought back to the office to be banded. You can submit them for on site grading and we could tell you the grade they would receive before sending them back.

 

Many Mint Errors can be graded at the show, but some more obscure ones may have to go back to the office for further research. .

Thank you for your reply! Just to clarify one last thing, are GSA coins submitted in the original holders eligible for the silver dollar tier pricing, and would they count towards the 5-coin minimum?

Only raw coins (uncertified in flips) are eligible for the show Silver Dollar Special tier. The GSA's would have to be submitted under one of the show Walkthrough tiers.
